Sourcemods for Black Mesa?

Just a simple question, is it possible to make a source mod that mounts the content of Black Mesa?
So that you basically start with a copy of BM and you can mod it as you want (like a HL2 mod)?

You can mod the game using Hammer editor and soon you can add custom content like models, materials, sound etc.

You however won’t have access to the source code as it’s limited to the devs.

There is no access to the Game Code so no. You can Mod only Maps/Models/Textures.

I think theoretically you could mount BM content, but I have no idea how well it would work under a 2013 or 2007 source build.

Soon? You can do that already.

What I was asking was if it´s possible to make a mod for Black Mesa, like Black Mesa Source was for HL2.
Which is apparently not possible.

Well, I mean it’s possible in that binaries can be decompiled, altered, and sewn back together again, but also so insanely difficult for a program of this size that you may as well work on putting a human on Mars.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
