I dunno, I have a Core 2 Duo with sse3 and an 8800GT but I also have a geforce2 GTS that only has dx7 and my amd athlon 1000mhz doesn’t have see1 but it plays the 2005 version of hl2 perfectly fine (30 to 60fps) but the current version says error no sse processor, when I changed the CPU to a coppermine it said error, no dx8 card and so I can only play the illegal version of HL2 on that PC.
