ok we get it, we won
apparently, even the creator of SOPA is against it, because he broke a few of the laws described in the bill on his own website
BREAKING NEWS:

Black Mesa: Source forum joins the blackout movement.

…
Also, Dinosaur Comics and Nedroid.
lol
Would have been better if they faked the Black Mesa release by giving a fake download link that shows a “blocked by SOPA/PIPA” message.
Don’t encourage them. They’ll totally do it. After all, SOPA, or anything like it, would probably outlaw modding in the name of protecting intellectual property.
Loving the site blackouts, by the way. Very nice.
My initial reaction to the BMS protest was like OMG SIGN OF RELEASE!!!1!1!
I was disappointed
Google should’ve done a blackout like Wikipedia. Putting a censor bar over “Google” is a weak protest. Completely blocking out Google’s search results would have sent a better message in my opinion.
And it would have annoyed the ever loving shit out of anybody who used it. Frankly, having to refresh Wikipedia constantly to cancel the page load before the censor page comes up is already annoying me.
I’m frustrated too, it’s very annoying lol. A couple websites I go on regularly are completely down today it sucks but it is getting the point across.
Also, I found this really funny. Its peoples reactions to Wikipedia being down. Half the people don’t know/understand why.

That’s not the point NerdRage, the point is to get people to find out what is hppening. by blocking all results, people may be able to find out about it from google, but they wont bee able to find any news on it etc.
OFFICIAL: BMS will be delaying it’s release of the eagerly awaited mod in protest against SOPA.
I for one cheer the bravery of the BMS team.
I had to go out of my way to see what you people are talking about.
Wikipedia’s blackout is too front-ended.
HAHAHAHAHA
Looks like it had a pretty large impact.
