Guess what? The new update is about the fact that Black Mesa will not relased in 2010.
Honestly, I’d be happy to hear anything. Though I can understand from their point of view (ESF is taking forever) as well.
The new update is to inform you that we are sticking with valve time as it works great.

You can’t really get mad at fans when we take Dev comments out of proportion. I mean, they misstepped the release date so hard that they feel the core of the earth. Damn they should be happy we stuck with them all this time. On another note; someone will misinterpret this and assume that I don’t appreciate the hard work that was NOT required from anyone. Truth is, I do in every sense possible.
Thank you Black Mesa, you’re game is so great that I don’t even know how I will feel when it comes out. For some reason, I’m actually no longer excited. I really don’t know why, but I could care less, and I am really striving to get that happiness back. Who knows, maybe by the time I do the mod will already be released? Good Luck and Thank you Dev team.
I said “this is not a release date it is just words saying not to expect black mesa before December 2010” and people said “no” and I said to my self “you will be dissapoint” and then I said to myself “ha ha ha” and then I was quiet until now.

Honestly I don’t want to sound like any kind of troller, but if you’re actually going to take 4 more years until releasing a finished mod, you should just release what you have now.

I have a confession to make.
The reason BM isn’t out yet is because…
I still haven’t finished beating EP 2 again. And since that was to tide me over while waiting for BM I’ve only played a little here and there. The rules of narrative causality state that the mod wont’ be out until I’m finished.
The good news is I’m right on schedule to finish playing EP 2 by mid December! (My birthday is Dec 11 so I’m trying to beat it by then so I can haz the greatest free birthday present EVAR!)
