Something Soon

And the events of HL2 were all just a dream that took place while in stasis on the tram back from Xen (assuming you chose correctly)!!! And Episode 1 was merely another level of dream that takes place in the split second between the explosion of the Citadel and actually being blown to smithereens! Etc and etc!!!

And best of all, that means these years of waiting for BM to be finished and released really only took a fraction of a second of tram-sleep in the original Half-life layer of reality, while the credits rolled, leading one to the inescapable conclusion that not only has there been no delay worth all the whining but the BM dev team will have shattered all records of game development time! Imagine, a fully realized remake of one of the most influential games of all time in an updated engine with new art and audio and some new 3D assets conceived and released in microseconds!!!

Unfortunately I suspect that the final unpacking of the innermost .7z file will be the initial “kick” that sends us all spiraling down a chasm of nested realities: the train crashing, the citadel exploding, the g-man adjusting his tie, the credits rolling, and we will all awaken in 1998, checking the temps on our overclocked celerons.

And the credits end, and the CD in the drive stops spinning.

Or does it…?

Coming the end of 2010; SOMETHING

Guys, what if everything was backwards, and we were waiting for the mod to unrelease. Whoa…

just thinking about it turns my mind to bologna.

I for one, am optimistic.

Hoping for a December release.

People used to say that 3 years ago.

I, for one am a not give-a shittist, I will wait until release without making any useless predictions.

I consider myself a realist, you know, because all I care about is how fucking awesome Black Mesa will be when it’s done.

You misunderstood me, it’s not the problem that it takes to long it’s about the devs because there are not serious…they said they will release in 2009 I understood from 1 jan 2005 to 31 dec 2009 4 years ok, BM will make a 2010 release for sure this time…another blur after whole 5 years (sufficient time for any type of project) BM is not done! for valve it took 6 years for HL2 because they worked to make Steam and Source engine and don’t tell me that they haven’t time just because they work only in their spare time take a look on another dev team…and how they are organized…they are not waste time with spammers and trolls on the forum, a well-organized team is able to make a project like BM in less than 5 years…4 years and 10 months…because they have the resources already It takes only one month to port the mod from a version of source to another…this is not a problem

I still think, the mod is already finished, they’re only waiting for Christmas, so that everybody in the world gets an extraordinary present

I recon you know that from the last time you ported HL1 to source.

Such entertainment here. Awesome, I never get bored of this forum.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
