Some new attacks for the Nihilanth?

the best ones were gonarch and the tentacles

Tentacle boss fight was awesome. Gene worm was too easy.

The Tentacle was awesome, so was the Gonarch, never really liked the Nihilanth though. And the Pit Monster from Op4 was also great

Nihilanth- good
Gonarch- not bad
tentacles- awsome
gene worm- shit

Maybe some psychic attacks like the Advisor.

By ‘easy’ I didn’t mean the actual fight. I meant that Valve kinda took the easy way out and decided to have the game end with a generic boss fight.
So much else about Half Life was revolutionary I just found that a let down.
TBH there was not much point my mentioning that though because HL ended with the fight with Nihilanth and so will BM, and that’s how it sound be.
So, that said, I’d love for the fight with Nihilanth just to be a bit more involved and a bit more interesting.

The Nihilanth should have an attack that creates chaos. Like a fairly fast orb that, if it hits you, creates fake images of hecu soldiers and agrunt and stuff. They don’t damage you, but the grenades and hornets should get you to go for cover.

And then then first people to finish the game will file a bug report about soldier entities that don’t die and deal no damage.

And then we flame them, over and over, because they didn’t read the disclaimer: AT THE END, THE GIANT F*CKING FETUS WILL CREATE IMAGINERY SOLDIERS TO GET YOU TO RUN FOR COVER AND STOP SHOOTING IT. NO, THIS DISCLAIMER IS NOT FOR LSD.

Nihilanth was so boring that I decided to challenge myself to kill him without using the upper bounce pads.

Took a while. I’m not too great with grenade/explosive/tau-jumping.

Yeah, the garantua(don’t know if i am writing it good) was much more scary
:lambda:

I found the final epic battle to be a let-down back in good hl1 days.
I wish this time the ending of hl1 could be improved.
Gl BM-team. I have my hopes on you guys.

What I disliked about the Nihilanth was the fact that he used the same animation over and over again. He rises and his head opens, he comes down and shoots transportation orbs :meh:

It’s like the most cliché end boss in videogaming.

At least the geneworm didn’t shoot homing teleports that sent you back to the jumping puzzle featured in The Package.

It may have been tedious, but it was easy. The Nihilanth took me hours the first time.

The only thing that makes it worst than the Nihilanth boss fight was how the lair conveniently had two superguns pointed on both sides on his head without explanation. That was just lazy mapping. However the dead body right next to the regenerating pool in the Nihilanth’s “throneroom” was almost as lazy.

Too me it ranks like this:

Nihilanth- Not even shit. It is several ranks beneath a boiled diarrhea stew.
Geneworm - Meh. Shit, but an easy healthy brown stool.
The Episode 1 gunship: Great idea ruined by new technology and loss of logic.
Gonarch: Not bad
Surface Tension Gargantua: Good.
Pit Worm: Good
HL2 Hunter-Chopper: Very Good.
Episode 2 Hunter-Chopper: Great.
Power Up Gargantua: Great job.
Blast Pit Tentacle: Fucking sweet!
GlaDOS: Fucking Black Forest Cake sweet!

Blame Gearbox for that… I think that the Nihilianth is probally the most time consuming thing in the mod, making that HUGE mofo… well, his HUGE head atleast. And all the cool shit they are probally adding to that scene, im sure they are thinking the same exact thing, and are 2 steps ahead of what we can even imagine.

There should be an set amount of damage you do to his head which provokes a new, devastating attack whilst propelling you out of his cranium. [COLOR=‘Red’]SHOULD HAPPEN AT LEAST 3 TIMES!

I’m sayin’ he needs to get tougher each time! It definately gives you that feeling of adrenline and urgency knowing that the battle has only begun and is only going to get WORSE!

or he could get weaker. İ don’t like The more pain The more Strength

At the very least… everytime that set amount of damage is done Nilly needs a devastating attack. Y’know, like unleashing his final defenses before he goes out with a bang.

i hope it will be better than the original half-life. İ don’t want to say man,The HLS was better
