Some Interesting Things I Found

I was recently going through boxes and I found some interesting things.

First I found a Red Rider BB Gun-it’s the real thing too. I’m slightly afraid to use it for fear of having my eye shot out.

Next I found a German SA and Hitlers youth knife-I honestly have no idea why I have these, but I’m glad I do.

The last mildly interesting thing I found was an untitled book from the 1900’s-it’s a pretty good book from what I’ve read so far. It’s about a guy living in Chicago during that time. It’s pretty cool, it doesn’t have any plot, it just sort of goes through events in his life. Very naturalistic.

Go through boxes and post what you find. They might be interesting.

you could pawn those and make a bit of money, or you could go the more interesting route and hide out in a woods tree fort for a few weeks with your knife and gun and declare yourself to be the first emperor of the glorious fourth reich.

your call.

It’s all good if you shoot your eye out - just say an icicle fell in your eye and it’ll be covered by your insurance.

Fuck you Santa I don’t want a football.

Huh, I finally found that second SNES controller, sweet.

The you’ll shoot your eye out part is the only part I remember. I don’t even remember what the movie was called. :retard:

A christmas Story, got to love those 24 hour marathons every Christmas.

I knew it had something to do with Christmas.

i watched that movie again and was surprised greatly by the hilariously stereotyped asian people when they went to the restaurant on christmas day and the asians sang ‘fa ra ra ra ra ra ra’. It was amazing.

Holy shit, the 1900’s? That’s years ago! :aah:

Written and printed, not just a copy. It is pretty bad condition after 100 something years, something like is really pretty interesting to me.

What’s it about?

Pretty much just a guys life during that time. It isn’t really a story, nothing happens to him, he lives a real life.

You sir, have found yourself what is called a diary.

Also, you should have an expert look at that if you think the book itself is interesting; I’m sure you’ll find the expert’s opinion also just as interesting.

I should write a diary so that in the future somebody will find my life interesting. :frowning:

It’s not a diary, it’s just the writers style, and I think the cover might have been switched. It’s telling the story in first/person. I’m pretty sure the writer was trying to get the naturalistic style. I’ll show you what I mean with quotes and whatnot later, when I can get the book.

But until then, look around and post your interesting findings.

@Acristof: it wasn’t a joke.

transcribe a paragraph of it to google and see if anything comes up.
