Well, this is some thoroughly awesome stuff right here. I love everything in these screenshots, especially the fact that the enemy designs, which I have favored for a long time, have endured the test of time. I was worried that some of the time was being spent reworking and retooling designs I thought were already perfect, but now I can see that was simply not the case.
I’m excited! Let’s see if this momentum keeps up!

I assume this means nothing release wise? Although can’t say I’m not surprised I thought you guys vowed never to show anything new. Hopefully this means it’s coming within the next year.

Considering they are starting the promotional campaign towards the release right now, it is at least implied the release date is not that far from today. This could mean a month or a year, but the important thing is they’re now confident enough to market the mod continuously until they release it, which probably means they’ve got a well planned release date.
Nice screens I just hope that there was a good reason to stir up the waters of the community.

I am so glad the devs are able to come out… these are much more accepting times we are living in. 
A little disappointed by only eight screenshots, but hopefully this is just the beginning of many things coming at a steady clip.
edit: The vort is the only thing that looks a little strange to me… is its collar, bracelets, er… thong made of crystals?.. this looks like they need subdivided at least once. And is that the windows desktop field/sky image mapped to these items? Everything else is stunning.
Well, if it’s hype they want it’s hype they’ll get. Perhaps my earlier hope of September will come true.

To tell you the truth, I’m kind of disappointed. I was really hoping we would finally see the release of Stides Mesa Sauce but oh well XD
Actually, my real question was regarding this quote:
Did you mean the first release of your social media campaign or your first release of Black Mesa, as in the first version number (1.0, 1.1, etc.)?
I’m silent most of the time because of my low-level English skill.

Purpose of my comment is right here:
I have to say I always loved that green radioactive atmosphere a lot (in HL1, not in real life, heh).
Almost from begining of this mod progress I wished “Let it be green, nicely green”
Now I stare at this screenshot and time goes…
Can you make 360 degree shot from there?

PS: No matter when, I’m ready. When done, I’m really not sure what will happen. I’m really curious about my reaction and feelings during downloading this “best ever mod” because HL1 is best ever FPS for me. And you simply making it even more perfect. Also when done, await Moët & Chandon Ice (recomended with mint) Sorry, can’t afford Don Perignon, but I belive you will enjoy it anyway ;o) Just let me know where to send!
