So when is mesa hitting steam?

As I can remember we(the bm community) rushed to get this game greenlit. I think it was the first to get greenlit. Anyways, when is it actualy hitting steam? Ace of Spades, Forge,Waking Mars have already hit steam and were greenlit far after BM. :freeman::|:3

Iā€™m pretty sure the answer (if there will actually be the answer) will be ā€œwhen itā€™s doneā€. %)

How can you apply that ā€œwhen its doneā€, while the first part of the mod is already released?

2013

They said BM will hit steam as soon as the majority of discovered bugs are fixed, including the lag and the stuttering.

Because putting a game on Steam with all Steamworks features and such isnā€™t as simple as you think. Besides, like itā€™s been said earlier, they want to release updated version on Steam so they are currently fixing bugs.

And apparently crashing is such a huge and widespread problem, I doubt the team (nor Valve/Steam) would want to release with that of all problems.

I hope itā€™s soon, if itā€™s just about bug fixes and not Xenā€¦

I hope they make some developer commentaries eventually, too. For me, personally, itā€™s even more important than getting the ending done. But thatā€™s just my thing. However, I think most people would find the devā€™s comments incredibly insightful.

This is not Valve Timeā€¦

This is Black Mesa Source Timeā€¦

It will come when itā€™s worth itā€¦

amen

When you can download it from steam.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valveā€™s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
