Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

I plan on going there tomorrow, and am willing to take pictures of it’s exhibits by request. I’m going to the one at the National Mall.

I don’t know if anyone will even want me to take a picture of anything for them, but figured I would offer. I’ll dump all pictures that people request in here after I’ve uploaded them.

take a pic of the first space ship ever

Take a pic of you putting your dick inside that thing here:

I’ll get the oldest I can find, how does that sound?

No. I’d rather not be banned and possibly arrested. :stuck_out_tongue: Also, that plane isn’t at the DC museum, and I’m not going to Dulles. (I’d be tempted to make a day of it if the Metro ran there, but it doesn’t.)

aww duuude it’s been so long since I’ve been there

You’ve gotta photograph the Me-262

If you got time :

-F14 Tomcat
-F4 Phantom II
-SR71 Blackbird
-U2 Dragon Lady
-RF8 Crusader
-A6 Intruder
-AIM 120 AMRAAM
-AA-2 Atoll
-AIM7 Sparrow
-AIM9E Sidewinder
-Minuteman III ICBM
-Pershing II SSM
-Space Shuttle Enterprise
-Manned Maneuvering Unit

I wish I could go there sometime before we ran out of petrol.

I’m not particularly into this kind of stuff but huge WWII period aircrafts are pretty badass, especially the double-tail ones, also helicopters are cool.

I already got all the pictures I wanted of that when I went there. You people should consider doing the same. Its a great place.

Care to lend a thousand bucks for the plane :stuck_out_tongue:

Well you should go at some point in your life. Its pretty cool, and in a city with many pretty cool things.

touch the moon rock at the entrance for me

i’m not paying to go back just for that.

Go into a bathroom and get a picture of yourself in the mirror showing off your abs.

Hijack a plane and use it to raid the developers’ houses.

plant a tree

Wasn’t the place free? Smithsonian museums in DC are free of charge.

Yep. And I’m leaving now to catch the bus to the metro, I’ll try to get everything everyone said.

Which is awesome because they are awesome.

Enjoy yourself! The Air and Space and the Natural History are the two coolest Smithsonian museums.

The stuff you listed is in the other building, which is at Dulles Airport. I went to the one right off of The Mall in DC. I do want to go there again though, they have like, 10 shitloads of planes.

I would have, but it wasn’t there. The display for it was there, but the rock itself was not.

Let’s see if this works. I put the pictures in my SkyDrive, because it’s a lot quicker to go through my phone and say “Upload to SkyDrive” than it is to put them all on imageshack.

Link.

There is also a picture of my dog in there that I took yesterday to test the whole thing out.

Also, when I took the pic of the SR-71 model, there were some kids that were all “Woah, it’s just like in Black Ops!” I wanted to facepalm. Because they looked about 12.

bummer about the rock
I went to DC with a group and the guys were more interested in whatever the hell else you can do in the DC area while it’s 110 degrees outside, so I rushed through all the smithsonians (all of them)
