So much wrong with that:

  1. Lighting. Oh God the lighting. First off, its white, when the actual lights are yellow. Second, its everywhere. No shadows, no subtle changes. Third, its not illuminating the fixtures, which looks like shit.

  2. Textures. The floor texture looks upscaled till it surpasses ugliness, and is completely uninterrupted. Decals are your friends, use them. Same goes for most other areas.

  3. Brushwork. Make it interesting. A simple rectangular wall is boring and, more importantly, un realistic. Add some recesses an patterns. Make the ceiling sloped or curved.

  4. Props. Use them. Benches, pipes, pretty much anything would make that look less bland.
