That. Was. Horrible.

Hm, I agree, but I didn’t want to be mean about it. Now that so many other people have said it I don’t feel to bad about saying: Lrn2band. Also, I’m a drummer, and your drummer needs a lot of work, he really sucks.

EDIT: My band is recording on easter weekend, I’ll post something here then. We are sort of a mix of genres, maybe call it “Alternative Rock/Regae,” If you will. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ya and also, tell your singer lrn2sing… :frowning:

Don’t look at this if you’re afraid of vaginas.

I might be afraid of them now.

I made that yesterday when I was bored. :3

And the worat part about this is that my group wasn’t the worst :fffuuu:

W.I.P - futuristic medical supply box (512x512 normal + specular, no diffuse yet)

Great modeling!

Love the high-poly, but do you need to be so conservative with the polygons in the low-poly? It becomes way too flat.

Even just raising the center pieces would greatly increase quality.

Yea I tried that but it’s not as simple as it sounds. I tried using more geometry in the middle and a cylinder on top but it turned out very ugly, no matter what UV maps I used the normal map simply wouldn’t wrap nicely (well it wrapped just fine it just looked ugly).

Games like Mass Effect 2 use the method I’m using now and it looks great in-game, I’m sure it will look better once I have the diffuse texture on it.

Cool model bro.

I’m not seeing a vagina in that picture, are my eyes missing?

A good night Photoshopping, here’s the final model with diffuse texture (screenshot taken in cheap 3ds Max viewport shader no AA/AF- will look better in game engines).

From left to right: front view, top view, bottom view

Diffuse (512x512 + Ambient Occlusion bake), Normal (512x512), Specular (512x512) - 110 polygons

It sure looks like I could get some future-y health from that box!

It’s more like a cargo box for a medical facility, I’m making one from scratch on the UDK engine to get to know it better, getting tired after using Call of Duty’s game-engine for 6 years (it’s a horrible engine to mod, constant rage).

now am scared

i was so scared i had to quote the whole image out of fear

It’s a mouth!

With sharp, sharp teeth.
