Show Off Your Latest!

Wow, some really nice things in this thread, not gotten through everything yet.

But here is my latest, an extremely short render[2 seconds] of Alyx creeping in some random room.

There are still issues with it, i didn’t bother to sort out the eyes, and there are lighting issues on her right shoulder, but here it is:

Head is a bit stiff, but she moves very fluid. Looks good!

Thanks, yeah for some reason i didn’t think about the head.

The animation itself started as a “crouch forward” animation, and i have redone some of the footwork since the render.

I am just getting the different models made for the scene, now i have the desk, a shelf and a cabinet, and today i worked on the chair but that’s not finished yet. Then its onto the media center/tv stand. Then i can start animating other things within the scene.

Thanks for watching and commenting!

No school like the old school

Hey Jethrosoup, really liked the tune, listened to it twice, nothing like that good old retro gaming music haha

Glad you enjoyed it.

Flood the entire room to simulate the cage dropping into the water, with a clang and a splash sound along with it.

What?

He wants the water to “fall” into the cage instead of the other way round.

except thats dumb because then, y’know, the rest of the room will be flooded. And then he wouldn’t be able to use source’s sexy expensive water.

Added a few more little details and posed it in an upright position.

I must know… what game is that? :rabies:

Looks like APB.

It is APB. Fun, but repetitive. And the weapons aren’t permanent :hmph:.

Was the initial version of APB shitty like the reloaded one? If yes, then I know why it couldn’t make any sales.

Reviews say yes, but its got something of a following around these parts. Not sure why.

reviews are for autistic chumps that are incapable of deciding for themselves whether or not they like something

Ah, and here I was about to download it

Depends. If you have buddies to play with, go ahead. If you don’t, well, don’t.

Try it. Its free now, right?
