Alright, since I can’t find the picture…
A friend of mine shows 3 vague colored storyboard panels of Rugrats. Tommy carrying juice to Angelica. He says “I’m coloring these for someone, you know what this is from?”
“rugrats”
“yeah, that’s the scary part”
He then sends me… Fuck it I’ll find it.
Sends me that. He says that was drawn by someone who actually worked on the show, and there were shitloads more made by him, and other storyboard artists who were fucking around. This is the only one that saw the light of day though. There was a lot leading up to it and a lot following it.
So, he says someone asked him to color and ink it to look like a bit of the finished episode, and he did it for the hell of it. Apparently his colored version of that last panel is potentially spreading as a reaction face on 4chan. I made the gritty version as a precaution.
I lost the perspective cuz I wasn’t looking at the sauce though

How the hell did you manage that? I’m a graphic designer at my school and, well, what you just drew kinda blows my mind. How do you make such photorealistic shapes and colors with Illustrator?

gradients and reference images that look just like whatever you end up making usually means you’re either a dime-a-dozen graphic designer or a cheater
