Thanks man, I’ll keep that in mind

Maya 2011

Yea… I’m still working with it. I like what you did though… made it look like it’s in the same atmosphere instead of floating there. I’ll try that effect with the lighting.

Better? At least I thought so.

Also:

Been working on this for a few days, figured I’d show it off here a little bit:

For these babies:

Don’t get her vag juices on your face. XD

you creep me out

Yeah me too.

So much for ever being able to fall asleep again.

I like him.

Been working on this for a little while now for my CG class, I’m pretty sure it’s not the way your supposed to make a model of a person because I didn’t use any tutorials, I just kinda guessed what to do while I was making it:

The head seems a bit big to me.

Some more work:
Got all the inside joints sealed with silicone:

Set together:

View inside one of the binding post holes, there’s just enough clearance to slide a piece of paper under the woofer:

Glued, screwed, and in place in the truck just to see how it fits:

So far, it’s looking like a way tighter install than my last set of subs. I’ve got black carpet and a red kicker logo cut out of flat steel on the way as well to finish her up.

Aren’t you losing sound by putting them under a seat?

I think he wants bass kick instead of a good sound.

The low frequency bass that these woofers produce is non directional, especially in a sealed enclosure like the one I’m working on. It takes a lot more than leather and a little foam to dampen sound waves with that large of amplitude and wavelength. I’m putting them under the seat because there is simply no where else to put them in that truck. I posted the last subwoofer install I did in the truck, and I used subs that I had in a different truck and they wouldn’t fit under the seat in this one, so I made a couple ugly ass boxes that took up the whole 40% seat in the back there. These shallow mounts are only about 1 1/4" shorter than the other ones, but it makes all the difference.

As for sound quality, I’m switching from a 2ohm system to a 4ohm system, which means there will be a half reduction in power, but more accurate bass from the woofers. They should compliment my 9 speaker surround in the truck quite nicely.

how are you not black

He likes vibrations from below.

Got bored, decided to Fourier transform and make awesome looking plots:

Oh snap, sudpuzzer, at first I thought it was a model of a house or something, then in your second set of pictures it clicked and it looks fucking awesome. I’m extremely jealous, the sound system in my car rattles my doors and fucks up the frequencies all the time. Very nice job.

As for your picture, bobbo, you should take pointers from what deathmonkey7 did in terms of color correction, but the most obvious thing that makes it look out of place is the rear wheel, there, how it looks like its floating over the grass. You should make that grass be going up and around the front of the wheel, that’ll really lock the cat in place in the landscape.

After studying the image some more I also noticed the light is coming from the wrong direction. You can see down near the bottom from a shadow cast by a blade of grass that the shadows should be almost perpandicular to the camera angle.

I ordered a new longboard to replace my old broken one, and here’s the design I made up for the griptape on my new one:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
