Shitty Youtube Update!!!!

Are you saying he’s not very intelligent?

just fucking deal with it, holy shit

^ this

You guys, some people have been getting the html5 version of youtube by default instead of opt-in. Maybe thats possible? The Html5 version of youtube only works with I.E., Chrome and Safari…but does NOT have native Firefox support. maybe that has something to do with the funky layouts and stuff?

ask toolbar, and ie, wait wut, 3 different search toolbars! wtf

Is it because of the ASK search?

Also, I first noticed the strange layout update when I was uploading a new video I made in Garry’s Mod.

The update difference is barely noticeable. Why do you care?

99% of users that have toolbars never use them. 50% of those users complain that their browser runs slow… if you don’t use them, get rid of them.

i have the changed youtube when using it at school and the normal version when at home the only difference i can think of is that im using a different browser

I got the Youtube update too. Pissed me off at first, but you get used to it, I actually like it better than the old one now. I’m using Firefox so that rules out it only working on people using Safari, IE, etc.

Alright, so I just got it, a lot of people did. It’s a conflict with your bggmap.bmg file in System32.

Delete System32, which houses the revisionary internet protocol drivers so you can restart the revision process correctly.

Liken’ your over-sized droolbars. Solution: Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or Safari or Opera or anything else other than Idiot Explorer. IE is part of Bill’s OS and if it crashes or screws up, it can hose the entire machine. No other browser can do that. Try one…they are all good. Besides, things will likely work better in one of those.

I’ve seen this in IE and Opera 10.5. Commenting and making favorites doesn’t work properly, (The comment box only updates after I put the mouse over the video, and the “save to” box won’t even react to clicks) the rating system is crap now, showing every video except for complete crap as “Most Liked” (Compared to what!? Maybe most people liked it? I don’t know, its all crap now), and the videos don’t even play on Opera 10.5!

It said that I was using an old version of flash, so first I thought it was incompatible with flash 10.1 beta. So I switched to a stable release, and It still didn’t work! I noticed that it actually showed the video before switching to an “Old Flash? Upgrade now!” screen! Is this some kind of power grab to switch everyone on Opera and IE to Google Chrome!? (I checked, my version of Chrome used the original UI)

Thankfully Firefox (at least on the computer I’m writing this on, I’ve used others that have the new UI) has not been affected it seems, but who knows how long that will be. This change is NOT something to idly pass by as “Just an update”! This update doesn’t provide any benefit, all it does is [COLOR=‘DarkRed’]replace a simple star system, with an overly simple binary approach to ratings! It [COLOR=‘DarkRed’]pushes the video description down below the video (so no reading it while watching) completely [COLOR=‘DarkRed’]removes channel pictures from anything but the channel it self, and [COLOR=‘Red’]restricts IE and Opera compatibility, rendering them useless for viewing Youtube!!! > :frowning:

Yeah what the hell?

I know how to change between the old and new skin, it has to do with spyware.

You remind me of people who complain when facebook gets and update. Buck up and quit bitching.

I wonder what he thinks of the Steam UI interface…

LMAO. Indeed he has. I don’t even know why but that is funny

I don’t know why i just press rated 1 stars. But it is nice, so rating isn’t important.
