No one should expect a new Team Fortress Game for a looooooonnnnnnggggggg time. They just started making a shit ton of money off of it, so I doubt they will think about replacing it until it drops in popularity. That’s what just happened with Counter Strike if you really think about it. It dropped in popularity when they made TF2 F2P, and now they are making a new one.
I encourage it. More money to fund the game, and a better game will come of it.
Or at least a more refined one.

theres seriously no reason at all for another team fortress, tf2 has an extremely active community especially with the f2p shit
the graphical style probably wont ever really get old, they can always keep adding maps and items and game modes but that got old already

people always get like this before a release, then after the release, they ignore all of their previous statements because the game is always awesome. It was like this with Left 4 dead 2 also. I wish people would stop being cynical and let valve weave its magic source threads and make incredible games.
Portal 2 made me cry. that’s some good fuckin’ game makery right there. just be patient and wait for the awesome.

Source is sweet engine and stands up fairly well today but it’s still in desperate need of attention. Portal 2 looked nice but still.
I’m also kinda bummed, I wanted to have a chance to play CSS first before it’s abandoned (Or maybe not?) for this. Then again 1.6 wasn’t abandoned but is apparently filled to the bring with touneyfags and I hope something similar doesn’t happen to CSS, it looks fun dammit.
