I never show my nerdy part when I’m with people/girls. only when i’m with friends. But it’s still hard to get a girl in here. Most of the girls love it when someone treats them like an asshole…(Do it if you want, it usually works, seriously!) and It’s pretty annoying

When looking at the total package: video games, because:

• They don’t complain
• They don’t require commitments
• You can spend time with them on your own terms and schedule
• They’re cheap
• They don’t care if you cheat
• You can play multiple games at the same time and nobody will care (well not at the same same time, but like “playing 5 different games during the same week”)

Looking back at my time Playing WoW for almost 4 years in High School. I remember having problems with all of those during that time.

-Guild Leaders always complained about my performance when I got lazy =3
-Giant commitment if you’re in a raiding guild.
-Guild raid schedules, gotta show up at a certain time at a certain place 4-5 nights a week for 5+ hours.
-Cheaper than a boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband, but still, after 4 years, it cost several hundred bucks to keep playing for all that time. When I was employed, no problem, thank god I never spend money anyway and always had plenty of surplus cash for when I didn’t have a job.
-Dear god if you play another game when you should be raiding or farming for raid materials, you’re fucked.

Well… The burden is the girl (or “partner”), and unless I’m very mistaken, you have sex with your partner. So in any case, I was doing it right.

I guess prostitutes are an option, but I’m too proud and too afraid of filth to even count those as an option.

Or maybe I was actually doing it right and properly loved and cared for someone regardless of the sex, before realizing that love (with all its commitments) is only temporary, while friendship (without any commitments) is lasting.

While I was head over heels in love with her, after 2-3 years, it already started to feel as a burden, after 4 years we broke up the relationship, and we’re still good friends to date (that was 3 years ago).

I had to give up too much of myself in order to keep the relationship going. I didn’t (and still don’t) want to to take a partner into consideration when making decisions. I want to live my own life and not someone else’s. I want to be on my own when I want to be on my own, and I want to be with people when I want to be with people.

Love and sex, while they makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, come with the burden of a person.

I’ve been with a girl for 4 years before too. There probably is a girl out there that you’d like to be with longer than that… My uncle dated his girlfriend for 10 years straight even though he didn’t want commitment.

My grandparents were together literally until death parted them. So yeah, love is by definition only momentary, I guess.
