Mirror’s Edge 2. The game had a spectacular art style, but I felt like the combat mechanics could’ve used some polish. They also did a completely shit job of handling the story.
EA’s fault. They cut a ton of Rihanna Pratchett’s writing out of the game. Originally there was going to be a lot of in-game voice over during missions, including some inner monologues by Faith.
One of the only remaining examples of this voice over can be heard near one of the runner bags in The Shard, next to a graffiti reading “WHERE IS NOVEMBER?”
…Oh, that explains so much. It sounds like it would have been so awesome if they had done that.
Edit: I always wondered only why that one bag had voice-over by it.
