Scientists and the Human Grunts...

Do not know if major or minor but if a scientist finds a gun on the ground or a security guard dies near him, he should be able to take it and shoot whatever is attacking, although in a fear panic with high inaccuracy and little training.

I also think that if there is an obstacle that isn’t too high that the human grunts jump over it and yeah.

PS. Not wished to be added, but I wonder if a Human Grunt can sneak up on Gordon and strangle him.

This should be merged with the It’s All in the Detail thread.

Scientists will not pick up weapons. The only scientist to carry a weapon is the one at the Labda Core entrance, and he doesn’t shoot anything. All other scientists are total cowards.

And human grunts won’t be able to strangle Gordon. There is no reason for them to be able to.

I don’t know why, but the user name is fitting, although it’s spelled wrong, and there are numbers added. But you know, that’s just me.

20% of the science team are pacifists.
79.9% of the science team are dead.
0.1% of the science team consists of Gordon, Lambda Core scientist and 20 other people who are never mentioned.

To hell with the scientists. They knew the risks when they started to dapple with teleportation. They all get what they deserve. Except for Freeman, who just graduated and started working there.

why the scientists were always worried with ethical questions?
Just saying because the scientists always worried about “if they discover what we are doing down here, do you know?!”

I know BMRF is a big place, but 22,000 scientists? Wow!

is this a joke?

this has to be a joke…right? :fffuuu:

The only weapon they have is their ridiculous tie.

hmmm…
Do you want an answer that can bring the hope on mankind back to your heart, or do you want the truth?
Are you ready for the truth?

HAhahahaha

I freaking love this picture!

But seriously, anyone who wants to suggest a small detail such as this, please go to the It’s All In The Detail thread

I really don’t know how I feel about this…

On the one hand it wasn’t in Half-Life… on the other hand, a scientist should be smart enough to arm himself rather than continue cowering in a corner until he is executed or blown up.

Does this man look smart to you?

Now that can be answered with another question.

Compared to who?

Well, he does have a labcoat…but…
GOD DAMN, ODESSA! TWICE IN A ROW! :fffuuu:

I knew it! I fucking knew someone would work out the figures and bite me on the arse. > :frowning:

On the other hand, thats one insane office party.

Catering company: “Ok, we’ve got an order for the Black Mesa Christmas Party. 2 Billion cocktail sausages, a billion and half scotch eggs, 1 quiche…” etc

It’s very unlikley that the scientists will use weapons aside from the one at the end of the Lambda Core chapter. and considering the Combine could vault and whatnot in HL2, the hgrunts will probably be able to do it in BM.

Smarter than alot of people on this forum.

I haz no idea wat u talkin’ baut…

It’s the tie, right? Ties make people look smarter.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
