meh, been there, done that. By doing that I actually found out that easy difficulty == god mode. I mean you can’t fucking die no matter how bad you fuck up.

Well, try without cheats on, it is like transporting a not that important item in a car with all doors open! I abandoned it when in the garage where you get the radar thingy when I saw in the console that you can’t get the achievement when cheats are on. Then, when I was at white forest I found out I could just turn off sv_cheats…:b:facepalm:

You got “Get some grub” and not “Neighbourhood watch”??? What the fuck? Set easy difficulty and memorize when and where the fast striders are coming from. And congrats in advance for getting all the achievements. :wink:

Somehow i cant get hotpotat0wned achievement in ep2.

if soldiers happen to throw nade they always retreat when i toss it back.:’(

sk_plr_max_rpg_round 500 + noclip!

Edit:
Still impossible to save all buildings! and the magnussons allways fall off when I use them!

That’s because you need to kill the accompanying hunters before taking the strider down. Which, BTW, you can do by running them over with the car.

This is ESSENTIAL. I have recommended using the car to so many frustrated people.

I myself found the battle RAGE inducing till I figured this out. I think I was playing on Hard, I would literally run out of ammo trying to kill the stupid hunters and the strider would go right past.

Insta-killing them with the car made it so much easier.

I tried, but forgot to tell about my horrible Magnusson aim.
Also: the 2nd strider blasts the saw building thingy at once! Is it scripted or do I need to act really fast?

Really really fast… like, lightning frikin’ speed.

If you wait until the first Strider gets closer you can deal with it without leaving the sawmill. Then once it’s dead you can quickly drive over to the second Strider and blow it up before it has a chance to destroy the mill. You still have to be pretty quick, though.

I did that, just that when I turn around after the strider has expolded, I see a strider firing its lazor!

Re strider that blows up the sawmill: It cheats. Bigtime. Once, I was totally in position to take it out, but it fired its lazer from a good several hundred feet away…
