Blue’s a good modeler, but he wasn’t up to par, Black Mesa-wise. No harm, no foul. Just means the bar is set relatively high.
what software did you use?
actually i think the problem was that i applied when bm was pretty popular and before everybody thought of it as being teh dead ;D I bet my mail was one of the hunderets they got, i was not suprised i didnt get in, so i didnt bother later ;]
Also i used modo and zbrush. But i can tell you one thing i learned, modo cant render sss for shit ;D I will have to figure out a way to built more complex shader to make it look more realistic ;/
Or meybe i will use 3d max, dunno, i wanted to do the whole thing in modo, to try out it renderer ;/

if anybody is interested, i sorted out a lot of the problems, fixed the ears, the chin, made him look a lot younger, chaged his lips, still no real texture or spec map, also i will use disp map instead of normals for the final ;D Some ps for color corection. Also i added eyelashes, but i dont think they are visible ;D
He looks sad. Is almost as real as reality.
I can’t even begin to grasp the pure and utter awesum this model is made of…

i was doing sam when i sudenly started doing a shield design after i saw a picture of a shield ;] KMeybe i will give it to him and send him to fight dragons ;f Also im not sure if having a shield with eyes is a good or a bad thing O_o 1,5 h
