Reskins.

Yeah, I can’t resist and I start to make some little edits to BMS. Maybe when I’m more comfortable with me to do bigger issues at the moment everything is still very “wip” and without finished releases. Just simple edits at the moment.
I know, Black Mesa is perfect, but I just can’t resist to make some reskins and mods, well… thats my hobby.
Yeah, I’m a “retarded” to edit a perfect mod :stuck_out_tongue: But maybe it also encourages you to edit too, why not?

Basically it was inspired by the hands H4wk did in the old days of HIT, which obviously only in Black Mesa, as compared with the first version I improved the bottom carbon fiber for a more realistic and adjusted in some details. Vmt, the original was very damp and it irritated me, if you wish to maintain the original lighting just replace the textures and not the vmt’s

About the Egon/Gluon gun, I changed the display to green, seriously, I can not imagine that blue screen, then let green. I will make more edits.

Like the first versions, with tritium night sights.

Only I missed the original symbols of HECU? I decided to put on the hat. Reskin not finished.

Inspired by the M3LuckyCharms Marsoc-ish grunts I decided to put a U.S. flag patch too, but the position looks weird. Reskin not finished yet

I repented of this small issue, it was strange, my goal was to just put the details so that they would not be strangers in the game, unfortunately, they were strangers. What do you think? It was good or bad?

Do not know about you but I did not like the new colors that made for scientists in the final version, so… I went back to the first colors, I think they are more compatible and simple. I think I’ll edit some details of his coat the color looks slightly pulled the yellow instead of white

All good, except for the scientist new colors, the game is fully colored with loud tones (not like hl2 who is very dark and gray), you can see loud green, orange, red and blue, and well, a light color for the scientist look a bit “over-tunned”, but is good who the community start playing with the files of the mod.

Yeah, I think the same way. I’m anxious to see it when people will start making mods of the models. I see a great potential for a new era of mods.

I make some new skins for HECU. I doubled the size of the textures, instead of 1024 x 1024 I increased the size to 2048 x 2048, this improves the quality of some small details.

Soon in Mediafire

I uploaded this yesterday in gamebanana, inspired by a HIT guy model. I really don’t remember the name…

I installed the hecu reskins and theyre just awesome!
Very good quality

I will try to make more changes in the HECU reskins. I know it’s not possible to do a PCV in this model without a considerable loss of quality, so I think I’ll try to simulate a PCV underneath the bulletproof vest.

Great work, however I spotted a typo. In the blue ammo box (last pic) you misspelled. “For use in Dayly (Daily) security…”

I lol’d at the Tie one.

Those ties are not ridiculous at all. I am disappointed.

I will make some Bob Sponge ties, and polka dots and etc

is the gluon gun done yet?

Do you mean you actually edited it, or did you just increase the texture size and blur it or something?

I still don’t the ties are weird enough to warrant the in-game complaint.

I should probably DL some tools and make some ‘psychedelic neon’ ties, make sure they are truly ‘ridiculous’.

U misspelled daily, u have dayly on your box

No, those bullets are clearly for use in the security protocols designed by someone named Dayly.

Personnel is also mispelt though less people seem to be able to spell that.

Dayly’s it is

I’m Back and soon new reskins ;D
