How to a reprogramming sentry, when I grab sentry and put to the ground, the sentry shoot to me why ?!
Reprogrammed sentries are supposed to shoot EVERYTHING, i suppose. It’d also be logical if you got points only for killing marines, since they’re the ones who deployed the guns.
Like fgsfds said, reprogramming it doesn’t make it friendly to you; it just makes it hostile to everything. You can then carry it around (picking it up will automatically orient it so it can’t hit you) and it will shoot anything that moves until it runs out of ammo.
What?! You mean… Grr…
It’d have been nice to have a tooltip or something saying it was hostile to everything now… After I picked up the first one and it promptly shot me I’ve just been killing them…
So many tactics could have been used…
Just pick it up and carry it around, easiest way to do it.
