After I got into the HEV Suit and heard the voice, I didn’t notice anything new. It’s still the original voice… Is this happening to me only? Am I crazy? (that maybe I don’t notice any difference / the new voice isn’t much different from the original one?)
Can someone elucidate me? I haven’t heard any new voice. I heard the same original voice (as in the 2012 mod version) o_O Well?

It is a new voice, recorded by Kevin Sisk. It just sounds incredibly close to the original, which is why everyone is so impressed.

Actually it was decided long ago that the HEV suit would stay with the same voice as the original game.

The conflicting answers are confusing, I’m I’m about 100% sure that that’s not the original files.
They certainly don’t sound the same to me. The 2015 HEV voice is slightly higher-pitched.
Remastered versions of the original audio files or a filter of some sort, maybe?
Victoria is mistaken. The current HEV suit voice is Kevin and is completely new.

Yeah, I was about to say I KNOW the voice is new. It’s VERY subtle, but I can hear it.

Possibly, but they couldn’t, and the new ones have a much higher level of quality, so it’s good.
The voice itself is really good but the way it speaks is uncanny, it sounds all bitchy and passive-aggressive, I don’t know
