Random framerate drops

I get well over 60 frames in all source games.

My specs:
CPU - 1090T 6 Core @ 4.0Ghz
RAM - 8GB DDR3 1333mhz
GPU - 2 x ATI HD 5770s

I shouldn’t have any problems running this game at a non-stop 60fps but I frequently get random drops to anywhere between 20-50 frames. Any ideas why this might be happening or how I could possibly fix it?

ka bump

I too get some of these, I don’t know what causes this. Maybe Black Mesa Devs will figure it out. Also been getting these at CS:GO.

Sorry Guys, didn’t see this thread was already here. Check this out, might help.

I have the same issue :frowning: I have no problems in any Source game like Portal 2 or CSS but CS:GO and Black Mesa I get FPS drops especially when someone is shooting or I see sparks on the screen

Maybe here someone can help.

And I really don’t know why :frowning:

Same here, my framerate cuts in half while looking at certain areas. I can run all other source games at constant 60fps.

I get these too, and when I turn on the flashlight the game stutters for a second.
