I listen to a wide range of musical styles, but it always comes in waves of different moods.

There’s the mellow, emo-ish mood with Dinosaur Jr, Swervedriver, Built to Spill, J Mascis (God!), Atmosphere, …

There’s the rebel-against-anything mood that has stuff like Sonic Youth, Nirvana, dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip (thank you whoever pointed that out to me), Smashing Pumpkins, …

Then there’s my happy-stomp-my-feet mood with Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Alestorm, …

Ye olde grrrrr mood with Pantera, Nile, Amon Amarth, Megadeth, Slayer, …

There’s also a fuck-I-feel-old mood with Cream/Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy, Hendrix, Beatles, …

The I-feel-slightly-odd mood with Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Mùm, Lo-bat, …

And a nigga-I-am-gangstah with Wu Tang, MF Doom, Dr Dre, Pharoahe Monch, Busta Rhymes, Tupac, …

There’s a couple more I forgot to mention (and a lot more bands per), but that’s the gist of it.
