questionable ethics, fps drop

normally, the lowest FPS I’ve experienced, is 15,12 fps, in some parts of the game.
Description of my PC

• OS Windows XP sp3
• 2GB DDR2 ram
• CPU: Pentium dual core E5200 2.50 GHz
• Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
• Hard disk enough space

this has happened to them in this part?, is the part where you go to the soldiers, after encountering a security guard.

*I have lowered the resolution to 800x600 in the game, to raise some fps, but do not go up a bit.

I get the slowdown in the same place, it looks like the engine is rendering the HECU ambush room from here even though it’s not visible.

I doubt it is the same problem you are having, but I know every time I noclipped from the beginning of this map to this exact spot, my machine slowed to a 1 fps and the only way to stop it from doing it was to start over with a fresh start level. I never figured out why.
