Questionable Ad.

So I load up the page to browse the forums such as I do every day, and this ad caught my attention. I really don’t think this should be on this site, because it seems to be endorsing software piracy.

I imagine that the BM team has nothing to do with these ads. They are probably the result of the server that the forums are hosted on.

It’s just google ads.
After all, I doubt Josh endorses piracy.

Click on it and close the window right after it’s finished loading.

The BM admins receive money for every click (but you can only click once daily).

It’s not endorsing piracy, it’s a link to the demo…

…Of the entire game, amirite?

[COLOR=‘Black’]Seriously, I didn’t click the link. Am I right?

Yeah, not piracy. You have to complete an offer or something, then you get the game.

Note how it says ‘legal’, I haven’t taken a law course, but I don’t think piracy is legal, so it’s not exactly endorsing piracy.

May want to investigate a bit more next time.

How ironic, I got:

I tried it, the site just links you to a demo on downloads.com

And I have Adblock Plus, so I don’t have to see anything! Yay me!

All I get for ads are “The number one secret for building muscles” and 'Eating Disorder tips"

I’m getting the “wish your business could be online” from network solutions.

The ads on here are magical. They see deep into your soul and display an ad based on what you want most.

I click on an ad every day. I know how hard it is to keep a website afloat sometimes, so I try to help out as best I can

No, the web host does.

I keep getting a Find Seth Greens Missing Candy bar and a Geek Dating Service. T_T

That’s just what I need… A find it game and to date some guy.

Eat a dick, modkiller.

I know that scam, they actually try to get you install somekind of ad-serving program to your computer.

What you get for installing it :
Half-Life 2 Demo.

So, it doesn’t in anyway give you a full Half-Life 2 game, just the 2-level demo.

Intriguing question: Since everyone here owns Half Life 2, and thus won’t click the link, who cares?

I deliberately avoid clicking on the adds even if it’s for something that interests me, just so I can try and kill the mod. I should eat all the dicks.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
