Pssible Registration Problem

Had a small problem while registering to join the forums, it happened when i kept trying to submit my registration and it said there is a blank field… I tried many times to join only until I put a name in the who recommended this site box would it let me join. I’m not sure if this was a requirement to get in or just a bug in the site!
