So i tried executing BlackMesa-Setup.exe but when i do it says it cannot find BlackMesa.7z even tough i downloaded it.
Also, i can’t see BlackMesa.7z with the windows explorer but i can with WinRAR.
Could you please help me ?
If you have 7zip just create a folder in steam/steamapps/sourcemods called “bms” and extract all the files from BlackMesa.7z to that folder.

What does? The installer? I told you to just extract the stuff from blackmesa.7z to the bms folder. After that just restart your steam and it should show up in your library. No need to use the installer.

You can re-download it from a different source and try the installer again, but if you have the bms folder with the extracted stuff (and you’re 100% sure it’s in the right place and the folder is actually called bms and not anything else) it should show up in your games library. You can restart your PC too (since that seems to help in some cases).
The wiki instructions has the gamefront link, and while the blackmesa.7z file and the BlackMesa.md5 file is ok, the blackmesa-setup.exe is not working correctly.
I dont know where else to find the exe file.
