For science!
Just kidding. I did that just for fun. I usually close the game after killing Barney.
Skyrim with the Deadly Mutilation mod
This makes the game a hell of a lot less boring. I was pretty bored with the game 30 minutes in after setting up the other mods, but then I found this and now I can probably push through the shit I already did again to get to Solstheim.
EDIT: More
Also, I was about to die, NPC charges up to me then Farkas takes a swing and this was the result:
The closed beta (maybe alpha since it says alpha on the screen) for one of the games I pledged to on Kickstarter has started. I’m pretty excited about it. Game’s pretty fun.
Double post for gruesome deaths and other things
I grabbed Dragonborn when Skyrim was on sale a couple days back. I also installed a buttload of new mods, including SkyRe (which is totally worth it). And just… fuckin’ Whiterun, man:
Texture mods make the game look a boatload better. I would suggest wet and cold if you want extra immersion. It makes NPCs cover up with hoods and face covers in snowstorms or rain, you can get covered in snow, you drip water when you come out, etc. It also has an extension for dragonborn so ash storms actually effect the npcs and player, and they use things like dwemer goggles.
Also I like SkyRe (and how it integrates those really cool morrowind weapons released a while back) but I’ve been thinking I might want to replace it with morrowloot - I mean it’s not compatible, but morrowloot takes away the ability to easily craft everything and hand places sets of armor and stuff in dungeons like it was in morrowind, and makes things appropriately rare.
Kinda thought it was stupid how in the original game you could just craft Daedric armor because you killed a dremora at a shrine and got his heart.
So much blood even the arrows stuck in my shield got dyed red
^ The reason why I love this game, slain people with sword will get your sword cover in blood.
am i good at half-life deathmatch??
This server also used Half-Life 2 weapon models; the problem was that they didn’t include animations, sounds or muzzleflashes so it was just blindly shooting everywhere.
So I finally have a new computer capable of running games properly. Incoming screenshot bonanza!
Sleeping Dogs Benchmark: (all settings maxed, high res texture pack. Avg 46.8fps)
Holy fuck this game looks good.
Does that have aa maxed too? Because that’s like 4x ssaa. If you lower it down to high it’ll run better. It’s still ssaa but only 2x with some fxaa.
The benchmark seems a bit skewed, because usually it feels like it’s a straight 60fps while actually playing the game. But yes, I maxed out everything, just because.
Replaying DE. For some reason steam decided to only capture one screenshot, so here it is, in all it’s glory.
Is that a global ranking?
Yeah, as you can see by the label saying “Global”.
Oops. Missed that in your screenshot. Anyway, great job Jack Freeman!
I’m not familiar with the point system of that DLC but I’m pretty sure the guy in first place didn’t achieve that legitimately.
