That’s because it’s pre-calculated lightmaps with shadows on low, duh! Real-time cubemapping is also off so that’s why the strider/gunship look like they’re shopped in whereas the people/cars are all prop_static.

fffff, I wanted to Photoshop the same picture, but with shadows and bloom and all that jizz, but couldn’t find the original picture of that building (because I don’t now what building that is), and now I don’t feel like doing it anymore :<
