This is a rather old picture but I’m out of town right now so can’t take a new pic yet.

On the very left is a server which serves mainly for downloads, hosting a couple game servers and a web server for experimentation, it’s running CentOS Linux. AMD Athlon X2 7750 AM2 processor, 4GB ram, 160GB hard drive.

Below the server is an AM/FM radio receiver, and below that is one of my home built amplifiers putting out up to 400W RMS per channel (x2) which is quite overkill at the moment. Not yet built is a 5-channel 100W/ch amplifier. Once I have the money to buy better speakers and build the 5-channel amp, the 2-channel 400W will power my subwoofers.

Just to the right of that is my desktop computer. Intel E8400 @ 3.8GHz ATI 4870 4GB ram HDDs 1TB and 320GB. Monitors are Samsung 213T 19" 1280x1024 and LG W2442PA 24" 1920x1080. Both are connected to the desktop.

Black box the printer is sitting on is a 12" car subwoofer.

Laptop that is sitting on the left edge of the desk is an Asus F8Va, which I am typing on right now. Intel C2D @ 2.26GHz 4GB RAM, ATI HD3650 video card w/ dedicated 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD. Runs Source engine games very well. Plenty of I/O too: 5x USB, eSATA, HDMI, gigabit ethernet, ExpressCard slot, optical audio out, IEEE1394 (firewire), Bluetooth, 802.11N, infrared port. Not bad at all for the ~$1000 I paid for it at the time!

Things that have changed since this picture was taken:

-an additional table has been added to the right of the desk
-stupid Epson inkjet has been tossed and replaced with a Brother laser printer
-the D-Link DGL-4300 router which can be seen just to the right of the 24" monitor no longer serves as a router, only as a wireless access point and switch. I have purchased a MikroTik RB450G which is now my router, it is VERY powerful much much faster but beware: advanced users only!
-addition of a Linksys PAP2T VoIP adapter for the phone, no more landline

I rebuilt my PC into a 5 year old Thermaltake case, which by the way still works 100% including all the fans - you could ride those fans over with a tank and they’d still work.

Still using my good ol’ GTX285, damn I love that card so much, been an nVidia fanboy ever since.

Well it’s obviously digital.

Analog doesn’t really work for me as I sometimes deal with very low frequency stuff and sometimes need the logic analyzer function that this scope has. Analog scopes are a pain with low frequencies and digital stuff. They’re great for audio and RF though but I needed to compromise.

All around it’s a decent scope for the price (got it for about half of what it is currently listed at, I’ve no idea why the price went up like that!).

Razer Mouse: I agree, my right click on my Razer Lechesis is hyper sensitive and I sometimes will accidentally click it by just resting my finger on it.

yep, the fan basically sits on the two RAM sticks.
