Dell kinda sketches me out. Not a fan of their desktops, but the XPS m1530 (laptop) has really lasted me, and aside from a bad hard drive (got it replaced, but not without a huge hassle), I’ve had no issues.

Anyway, that’s pretty decent.
Kinda dumb that it has 8 gigs, instead of 4 gigs and a better card.
You don’t need that kinda memory, yet atleast.
The card really isn’t that bad.
I mean, I wouldn’t mind having a 5870, but I can still play Left 4 Dead maxed, Airborne maxed, Far Cry 2 on Medium with bloom and HDR on, and probably Crysis on Medium or High. Haven’t tried.
I’m upgrading it as soon as I can, though.
Far Cry 2 on medium? Strange, because I could play it maxed on my 8500GT.

I’m serious. But it was at 1024 x 768 and my card was OC’d to the max.
You probably had a lucky card, in terms of overclocking.
I have a 8800GT that can play GTA 4 on almost everything high, medium textures… 1680x1050 with good FPS. With the Motion Blur/HDR mod installed.

On another note, I just found another two USB ports on my computer. There’s a sliding panel on the front that I never noticed that conceals 2 USB ports and a small drive bay. O_o
There’s something seriously jacked with your computer if you can only run Far Cry 2 at medium settings with those specs.
I ran Far Cry 2 with all settings on high at 1440x900 with an 8800GT and 4GB of DDR2 with an AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+
(that was before I upgraded to GTX 285)
