Post your 'puter

Level. You are the GOD of computer cases, you know?

I imagine it has to do with silence. Even low DB fans have trouble competing with the silence of a decent water kit. I’m not up to date on water kits, so I don’t know how well that one performs.

I couldn’t get a picture of the entire computer but I own -

AMD QUAD 10.4Ghz AM3 620
4GB RAM
500GB
8200 1GB GAL

I got one brand new for a bargain a while back and it was definately a good deal.

Bad quality Ebay image :expressionless:

10.4Ghz?!?!?!?!!!?!?!

It’s a quad, so maybe he multiplied 2.6 x 4.
For the record, that’s now hot it works at all.

I want to redirect this forum back to the real matter at hand.

I just wish to confirm that the 56k picture is most certainly Lucy Pinder.

I’m don’t really want to create a new thread for this, but I thinking of maybe getting a new CPU as my little C2D 2.0GHz is starting to feel a little bit old, but since I’m not very good with sockets I don’t know which one to choose. My mobo is an Asus P5B-Plus. I’m not considering upgrading right now as I got more important things to pay, but it can give me a good idea of how it should cost.

Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo Extreme, and Core 2 Quad Extreme (not too sure about this one since the mobo came out before the C2QE was out). If you can still find it, the Q6600 is a very good, inexpensive overclocker and easily out performs the more expensive C2Q’s when overclocked. If you can’t find the Q6600 then go with Q9400.

There’s no need to confirm my expert observation.

A picture of mine, as I don’t have a good one.

Specs:
ASUS G1S Laptop
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.5GHz each
4Gb of 667MHz ram (I know its slow)
300GB HDD with 1TB external.
Logitech MX518 and Razer Deathadder G3 depending on how I am feeling.
TekNmotion Pulsar SX 7.1 Headphones
A pair of JBL Platinum Series 2.1 Speakers.
BlueRay Optical Drive
Windows 7 Professional

A picture of my laptop after I accidentally zeroed out the whole bios.

Just figured it out, and I have a total of about 4.84TB of hard drive space in or around my computers.

1.5 TB internal
1 TB external
1 TB internal
320 GB internal
320 GB internal
2x250 GB external
160 GB internal
40 GB internal

Some of that is unused though because one external drive I don’t use, and I have 2 internal drives not plugged into anything.

At least someone thinks the same as me :stuck_out_tongue: That’s the cpu for my next pc atm xD
.

I’ve got no idea why some people like the quad cores so much, dual cores overclock just as well, and I get the same benefits in games.

So, it’s all just b.s. that quads can multitask better? Becuase I need a cpu that’s very good at that. :expressionless: It’s not all about the games.

I’ll stick with speccing an 'ole quad thanks, it outperforms the equivalent priced dual core by a hefty margin, before overclocking. That’s good enough for me
.

mine > yours
This is where BMS is made. Just think that PC has the game your dieing to play on it… EVIL laugh

fffuuu

what are the specs?

Well water is cheeper than phase change and it keeps my cpu cooler than the cheep piece of shit stock cooler.

  1. *Cheap, lern2spell.

  2. Who says that because your air-cooling, you HAVE to use the stock cooler? I’m sure alot of the aftermarket coolers available cost less than a full liquid cooling systen.
    .

Hah, my PC specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 (2.8GHz dual-core)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 7200GS / 7300SE
RAM: 2GB (2 x 1GB)
PSU: 350W somethingsomething

Thanks for laughing, I built it myself
