Clearly on so SO many levels you are not the “typical” girl that that comment was directed at and as far as your “friends” go, well people tend to gravitate towards others with whom they identify so by the very fact that your friends are in fact YOUR friends the point that they agree with you on this issue is moot and completely irrelevant.

It is like saying that your not more likely to get mugged in the ghetto then in a quiet corn growing town when statistically nothing could be further from the truth simply because stereotypes aren’t P.C.
Walk into any large scale social arena (high school dance etc) and pay attention to who is alone and who isn’t then look at those who aren’t and who they are “not alone” with.
It is then that your whole argument begins to fall apart.

Oh I agree that there are certain special women that are above the norm and know how to embrace their powerful core self. Sassy strikes me as one of those types of gals. I anticipate she will do well for herself relationship wise. Unfortunately, my people watching hobby has brought me to the conclusion that most women go through a “I can fix him” stage at least once of not several times in their earlier adult life. I am guilty of it myself. Thankfully I was blessed after one particular bad bout of poor judgement and I am now mated with a wonderful man. One that may have flaws but I do not feel the need to ‘fix’ at ALL.
