If it comforts you, the most I ever do is google a word to make sure it’s spelt properly despite being underlined by a limited dictionary’s capricious selection. And by capricious I mean they didn’t do any exhaustive effort of documenting the english language… they just whisped through their e-mails and got a list from there.
(In all fairness to Firefox’s dictionary team, my searches are usually to make sure uncommon prefices/suffices are adaptable to their roots.)
