I only started using rainmeter about a week ago, so I’m still experimenting. Right now I’m mainly trying to adjust to having no/few desktop icons.

With icons, for reference:

MSPA AWSM!!!
Also raimneter not as awesome but still awsm.
Check deviant art for some nice configs for rain meter. Even if you don’t use then you can view the source code to learn how they make advanced things in rain meter.
EDIT: finished the pic of my desk
[COLOR=’#050505’]might be a little fight club influence to that pic.
Just buy a Wii and you’ve scored a hat-trick.

I normally don’t leave it setup in here. I keep it in the front room, but when a new game comes out I can patch in thru the front of my receiver.
Monster Hunter Tri. Get it.
Why do you have a DVD-RW which appears to be integrated into the desk!?
Because it’s easier to reach than the low-down computer.
dude don’t insult her
[COLOR=‘Gray’]or should I say:
Your impudence to circumstantiate an exemplar for thine quoted lady doest bate her beneficence within abutting stratums of the forum, ipso facto I importune neither your surmise nor its disclosure!
You forgot capitals and punctuation, you illiterate fool.

Same as what door said but also the burner in the computer is like 5 years old now and fails on dual layer burns, the second drive in the computer has been replaced with a floppy bay (because booting to floppy is faster than making a bootable USB ). Also when working with embedded devices (or netbooks for that matter) it helps to have a USB cd rom drive to boot/install the OS from.
Also apart from the drive the lamp on the left is built into the desk (including its 120 to 24v dc converter) Also if you notice to the right of the burner there are two red buttons, they are wired to the HD game box that control the conversion of component/composite/s-video into VGA.
How predictable.
swampfox, I thought you’d fucked off? :hmph:
shh, this is important
new desktop
took a while to program that rain meter config for winamp
You didn’t highlight your SIEMENS SpeedStream and your Linksys WRT54g, I am disappoint.
I don’t highlight technological failures, only winners.
