I am thinking of getting an all in one pc, should I go for the 20" HP XP one for 300 quid, or the 21" £400 win 7 dell one with similar spec?

I had only one all in one PC, it was the first one ever to use LCD, back in 1999, and it broke 2 months after the warranty ran out. It was the shittiest POS I ever used.

But hey, whatever works for you, I guess it’s still better than a mac.

I like macs and all, but I could get a just as decent windows all in one for less and you can run more on it.

I’m just saying get a bigger PC. Preferably with no built in monitor.

I’m always broke and I still have a bigger screen than that.

Yeah, well for me that would be the best, space saving, cheap + good performance, larger screen than my 17", and they have decent spec.

As long as the specs are similar enough, you can get the cheap one and install windows 7 on it later. If it doesn’t have at least 4gb of ram, get one that does.

It doesn’t really matter what OS comes preinstalled, I usually format and install pirated version even if it’s not my computer. Never had any complaints.

Fresh windows install. When I get photoshop back on this bitch, I’ll make icons for Spotify and cCleaner.
.

Im in Florida for spring break so I only have my laptop (im not dragging my 200 pound desktop to Florida)

That’s a pretty awesome pic.

Where did you get it, I have a similar pyro one so there may be a set.

EDIT: Might as well post mine.

that’s why I have my photoshop folder ready with a .reg file so I never need to go through the installation process again.

Sersoft: He has way too much time on his hands

@ Col, I can’t remember where I got it from, I think sam linked me to it. Here’s my one;

Ask in a rabid manner, and you shall recieve.

EDIT: Also, someone else has made a Spotify icon, it’s linked in the description on DA
.

I wonder if you can get W7 to cycle through themes…

I love you bro, no homo. :rabies:

EDIT:
Nice and clean for once, I actually was bothered enough to shove everything into the correct folders.

The background is nice, but I feel the icons on the dock don’t suit it… I’ll have to do some searching for a decent background methinks.

you could cycle thru themes using an at command but whenever your system changes themes everything is put on hold. So I would advise against it.

Hm… Well, I was thinking of having rotating sets of rotating wallpapers, if you see what I mean, and have a random one set on startup.

I tried one theme, removed it, then tried a different one, then…it wouldn’t let me restore the original windows files, no matter what ididthen…anthen, ANTHEN…OH GON WTF

Actually, the twisted mess of a result is rather attractive. I have;
The file browser/start menu from one theme
Start orb from another
Progress bars from another :S

And W7 isn’t letting me change anything back to standard, from my backups. Maybe it feels better about itself now?

p.s. Door, is your RocketDock recycle bin playing up? mine keeps resetting to the standard icon
.

No, but I had to set an icon for both an empty and full recycle bin, if that’s your problem.

I really messed up with those black icons, it looks tonnes better with white icons.

Also, fix that Windows 7 install brah. :hmph:

But, it looks good this way ;3

And yeah, I know there’s seperate ones for full and empty, but regardless, it keep defaulting… :frowning:
