I miss degauss.
Graphics card drivers should come with a simulated degaussing feature.
Also, after changing display modes, 20% of the time the corners should be tinted magenta.
I remember almost shitting myself when I degaused my friends 21" Mitsubishi CRT.
Magnets plus CRTs are awesome.
or just put the CRT on the side, degauss and put it back upright, once I made the whole class go to the gym because the teacher didn’t know about degaussing and thought half the screens were busted
I have an awesome CRT hooked up to my desktop. The colors look great on it, and it’s a flat screen, which means no glare on the screen. The only thing is, it’s a 21 inch, which means it’s about 30 inches deep, and I just don’t have that kind of space on my desk.
I wish I had a 24" widescreen CRT, those things support 2560x1600
One of these days, I should see how high I can get the resolution on my CRT.
