Well I though that way for a while but then on their forums plenty of people where using that resolution no problem sincer their latest firmware upgrade, which is why I think it must be my screens not supporting that resolution at THAT refresh rate.

EDIT: My bad, by their forums I actually meant widescreengamingforums.com

Love my wallpaper

And I adore your wallpaper as well.

I’m running 2 Sapphire 5770’s in Crossfire, with 3 Asus VH222H monitors at 1920x1080 60Hz each. I’ve got them all hooked up to one of the cards in Eyefinity, I had to buy a Displayport adapter for it to work tho.

Thanks. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, I did

You have 5,760px × 1,080px

I have 6.7% more

Wipeout HD in all it’s glory. Man, do I love the screencap feature.

Touché

except tiki can’t play games spanned over 3 screens, he has 3 computers hooked up to a screen each

Does Tiki actually have a decent PC? All I’ve seen is classic windows theme and TFC :stuck_out_tongue:

I can play 3 games over 3 screens. That’s, like, better or something.

…Okay, so the middle screen is limited to whatever I can WINE, but 2048x1152 on the other two is stretching the abilities of their graphics cards in any game more complex than TFC. I’d hate to increase their load.

I dunno, they’re kind of aging, you tell me what’s “decent” nowadays… From left to right:1. * Win2K SP4

  • 3.2GHz P4, 2GB RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce 6800GT
    • Ubuntu 10.04
  • 2.66GHz P4, 1GB RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 128MB
    • WinXP
  • 2.6GHz, 512MB RAM
  • ATI Radeon 9800

The last one was donated by my father… but he scavenged its extra memory before letting me at it. :frowning:

lol I throw out most everything (except RAM, CPU, HDD) when I find pcs like that, I still have two radeon 9800PRO’s in the AGP drawer

get a pentium dual-core E5200-E5600 (overclock the shit out of it)
some 1066mhz DDR2 or 1333MHZ DDR3 (to be able to overclock on a cheap mobo)
intel chipset socket 775 motherboard with PCI-e x16 (any except made by intel)
a SATA3 HDD 7200RPM
and a radeon 5770 (or a 5750 which you can overclock to almost 5770 speeds)

and you have a decent PC that will play the newest games with good settings

if your current hardware doesn’t support core 2 duo you might as well get the latest gen i5 with socket 1366 and only need to upgrade in 4 years

I’m pretty sure I’d have that by just getting a modern graphics card.

not with a netburst single core you won’t

my 7yr old sister has my old 3.2Ghz pentium 4 HT, it runs flash games and microsoft silverlight, which are the only two things that it’s used for, but I remember trying to run hl2 ep2, bioshock and crysis on it (with a radeon x1650 512mb) and it was laggy as hell.

My desktop using Rainmeter 2.1

lol.

Although is that a Ti4200 128Mb? Shit son I used to have one of those cards…way back when…

The computer’s from 2004. First computer for myself, if you will, so it has sentimental value. The last time the case was opened was in 2008, to quadruple the RAM (from 256MB).

It could actually play the Battlefield 2 demo on lowest settings (but when the screen was blurred from shell-shock, it turned into a slideshow). It’s obviously not a gaming-computer anymore… but it is the quietest of the bunch, and arguably the most stable, ideal for music and file-transfers.

SupeNupe’s setup is rather interesting

can you sync itunes with rianmeter?

iTunesPlugn for Stable build
iTunesPlugn for Beta build

Also the abstracted media player plugin
