The mozilla team decided to start doing every single update, no matter of size, a whole number because the idiots over at google do it and they didn’t want to lose future users because of common man thinking “higher number means better”. They now release a new version every third month.

BTW, I’m on FF 9(Well, Firefox Aurora 9.0a2, the second stage of alpha) and there’s FF 10(alpha) out there called Firefox nightly build.

P.S. The official contraction of Firefox is actually Fx, but no one is using that except mozilla team them self.

I am liking Nightly so far. Nice as speedy.

ooohhhh I’ve got sersoft beat by a version… or at least half-a-version. Honestly I can’t remember with much clarity the days Firefox 1.0 was out, but I do remember being Firefox-exclusive while it was still a 1MB download.

I remember when one of my friends installed Mozilla on top of Netscape in our programming class. He could go to whatever the fuck websites he wanted, and the teacher didn’t know, because tabs were brand fucking new. (plus she was kinda dumb)

Not sure what version it was but I started using Firefox before IE began using tabs and I thought tabs were awesome.

It’s the fedora default. :meh: I’ve got Fedora for work and Win7 for play, so I didn’t really see the point in changing it. Plus, I kinda like it.

Internet explorer also had tabs, they were just all in the taskbar :stuck_out_tongue:
the most annoying feature of IE6 to me was that when you open a new window (ctrl+n) it automatically starts loading the same URL of the last window inside the new one.

I have to use IE9 for work and it’s terrible. Whose idea was it to put the menu bar and favorites bar below the tab bar? Especially with no way to change it. They need to be shot.

Oh god, I think I’ve seen that once. I nearly shot myself, out of desperation to harm somebody who didn’t stop it from happening.

By the way, do NOT expect me to enter the state of New Hampshire.

Ne Hampshire blows except for the bordery parts

There’s really nothing wrong with that. Thats my default setup for Chrome, and it suits me well. There are far worse problems with IE IMO.

How is Firefox nowadays, switched to chrome again at FF5 or something like that. mainly because I love the most visited homepage chrome has, no other extension for Firefox really matches it.

Abstract images are truly the best wallpapers, imo.

Awwww yeah.

Oh, moon-nazis.

Nope, arctic-nazis.

You will find that even when you are not mistaken, I am still less so.

things are going horribly wrong with my part of the brain that handles logic and language
