Half-Life is Valve’s franchise. Half-Life made Valve big. Obviously they’re going to put Half-Life references in everything they do.

Also, I count lambda 4 times (3x symbol, once as a word)

OH MY FUCKING GOD VALVE IS SKIPPING EPISODE 3 OR HL3 AND ARE JUMPING STRAIGHT TO HL4!!!

Unless you count bot names I don’t see any HL references in tf2 or CS:GO and the reference made to half life in l4d2 with the crowbar is subtle. This is blatant, not just a nod to their successful franchise. This is trying to be them trying to be assholes.
