yay more repercussion stuff. I am extremely excite.
It really is beautiful but I had a couple of problems.
One is that when the pillar falls, it falls WAY too slowly. The upward particle movements look and appear normal but the movement of the pillar just isn’t.
The other thing was the electrical bolts sounded just like far off lightning instead of something closer to the observer and more electrical.
Other than that, it was gorgeous!
I think you’re perceiving it with the wrong sense of scale, both the sphere pillar are absolutely massive.
The red circled part is the player next to the pillar:

I mean, aside from the obvious bit that showing uncool or less cool parts would not drum up as much excitement.
But my god are your maps just some of the most incredible looking things I’ve seen.

One question, are the metal grabbers at the front of the Portal gun made with copper?
I just find it weird since the metal heats up so much when you grab something, after when it’s at room temperature, would that be a realistic colour?

Now, is that a re-design of an area from a previous video, or a new area deeper in towards the core?
EDIT: Just watched an older video, recognized the EXTREME CAUTION sign from the beginning, and am now quite sure this is a huge upgrade from the old version. You, fine sir, are amazing.
Thank you! I did redesign the area to put more emphasis on the epicenter of the pulses in a vista-like fashion.

This is actually pretty neat! I was never a big fan of the level design in the Portal games, and found it pretty empty and repetitive, but this is anything but!
