Even thought portal 2 isnt coming out till april of next year, it’s obvious that black mesa isn’t coming out till atleast 2012, so the dates are pretty far apart. Portal 2 is coming out first.

EDIT: well… they kind of implied it. I just don’t think they’re capable of releasing before 2012, that’s all. They can go ahead and prove me wrong by releasing within the next year, if they want. But my from my experience I think they probably won’t.

Well, by experience I mean the fact that it took them all the way till 2009, and ended up delaying it. Now, at the end of 2010, it’s still not going to be released. Back in 2009, right after the delay, you guys were laughing at us for saying that it probably wouldn’t be released in 2010 either. But looks like we were right.
What gives you hope that it will be released next year? Also, lately the devs have been giving responses along the lines of: “Dont believe everything you hear.” and “Shit happens.” It seems like a way of the devs telling us that there is alot more work that needs to be done and we shouldn’t constantly be waiting for the mod to come out.
