Totodile is the greatest starting Pokemon ever, and Feraligator is my favourite, his fighting stance looks so epic, but only in Silver/Gold/Crystal, in the GBA version you can see his ass.

I agree, which is why I stopped watching the show. The games, for the most part, are good though.
I’ve wanted to play the games, and while I do like anime and manga (though that’s been decreasing steadily) I can’t bring myself to watch the show anymore. It was okay when I was a little kid but now it’s just ridiculous. On-topic:

the handheld games are a series of remakes designed specifically for those Rod 'n Todd Flanders kids that always whip out their DS in public.
The cards and animes are where the good stuff’s at. The anime is almost bad on purpose.
