Hot chicks taking a bath in my front yard

:jizz: Well hello there, ladies.

During that entire video, I was expecting a shark to jump up from the water and grab the bird.

If I was good at editing, I would totally do that Bolteh!

did a few shots again:

stop making me jealous of your photography sk1lls

Did a photoshoot with a couple of my brother’s spiders (he collects them, fattens them up, and then dumps them in ethanol as a hobby, these ones were in the fatten up stage obviously) that I did about 2 months ago. Finally got around to picking the best ones and doing some really basic editing in photoshop and uploading them.

EDIT: and some even older pictures from a backpacking trip in the Lost Coast (Northern Coast of California) last summer with some friends:

Sorry for the absurd res, I’m too lazy to downsize them right now, I promise to next time.

Two over the image cap

Took this one in Tallinn (Estonia) last week.

Was wandering for 6 hours and shooting some photos:

what camera do you have, if any?
It’s less about the camera than the lighting and the lens.
Also glad you like it!

On that topic. What lens is that? :stuck_out_tongue:

Really superb pics!

Thanks!

1,2,8,9,11 were shot with the Pentax SMC DA 18-55mm f3.5-f5.6 AL WR(the stock lens that came with the camera) and 3,4,5,6,7,10 were shot with the Pentax SMC A 50mm f1.7

On a full-frame body, I take it?

That 50mm f1.7 looks like a beast of a lens :open_mouth:

nope, I’m shooting with a Pentax K-5, an APS-C Camera(1.5 Crop-factor). It’s a wonderful and powerful camera.
Yeah, the 50mm f1.7 is my best lens I have. It’s from the 70s(or early 80s) but it still is a great lens to this day.

ah well, that one really isn’t that good.

The Nikon D80 you mentioned isn’t that expensive. You can get them for 100-300€ used. Adorama offers a refurbished one for over 400$.
Anyway, you can get good used DSLRs rather cheaply, so maybe look into the used and refurbished DSLR market.
The camera I have cost me about 760€ but I think it’s down to 500€ by now because the K-5 II and K-3 came out meanwhile. Excellent cameras btw and the mount hasn’t fundamentally changed in the last 30-40 years, so you can still get some pretty good primes of the film era for cheap and they work fine, they don’t have autofocus then though, but who cares.

man this thread is so dead most the time.
Didn’t have a lot of time for photography lately, but I have some:
