The PS3 processor is good for certain things, not so good for others. It’s not like we have one processor architecture that’s universally ideal for everything.
Looks like you did.
“The same if not less” generally means <=
10 <= X means that X is a number 10 or below. If the dock were exactly the same, then we wouldn’t be having this discussion about taskbars and docks. But, we are, so, therefore…
No, 10 <= X means “10 is lesser than or equal to X” which means X would be equal or greater. GUI elements hardly matter in platform(read: flame) wars anyway.
Whatev.
No. PC will always be better for gaming, and even if I had to buy a console, I would NOT get the PS3.
Run and usable being two completely different things thou… the PS3 effort as with the 360, Popcorn Hour, ARM are slower than the original xbox.
nitpicking at its best.
Shut the fuck up, no one needs your opinion here.
Actually, the PS3 would be the only console I would buy (other than the Wii I already buy). Paying a fee for playing online? That’s like buying a cake, all of the cutlery and plates to eat it with, and then being charged to eat everything but the icing; the icing is nice, but it lacks the sustenance that gives cakes of that character their worth. From what I’ve heard from Yahtzee (having never played enough of it to tell), the multiplayer of Halo 3 is substantially better than the singleplayer; but if you’re going to charge an extra fee to be able to take advantage of that feature, then what’s the point?
I also don’t think that the 360 has as many good exclusives as the PS3; the PS3 has FF (granted the last one wasn’t PS3-exclusive, but the next one, purportedly, will be), MGS, God of War and a plethora of others that I wouldn’t hesitate to snap up. The 360…Halo and Gears of War just don’t quite do it for me, and I think the console is a bit light on with other IPs.
I can’t make any judgement on the actual quality of the processors, since I don’t know anything about how the consoles actually work. All I know is that the PS3 has a Blu-ray player, has a good range of IPs and games that I would actually buy. On the other hand, no backwards compatibility sucks.
Being a long time PC fanboy, I recently bought a PS3. And oh sweet mother of God, I absolutely love playing on it. And it’s absolutely superior to any console hardware-wise. I would never consider any other console ─ Wii’s definitely not for me, and X0 is, well, old and technologically inferior. Cell FTW.
Though I still think playing FPS games is much more fun on the PC.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Continue posting, everyone needs your hypocrisy here.
I always found consoles to be singleplayer devices, and most singleplayer games these days have a replay value of 0.0. The few multiplayers I tried on console didn’t please, most of them weren’t even enjoyable.
When I play games, I want to play it with other people, with friends. Not on my own.
With the exclusion of the Sims. That one just roxxors ur boxxors no matter u saying.
I agree. But why the hell would it be different for you? Do you think you’re superior? You would be surprised if I said that you aren’t, you’re just a smart ass who over-estimate himself, it is either due to a personal frustration, either because you want to impress your comrades, who are definitely as dumb as you. The only thing you are bringing to these forums is hardcore hypocrisy, and that’s why I love you.
What are you, dense? PS3 is awesome
That’s the way I am on these forums.
I am me, just as you are you.
And that’s the way I am on these forums.
Get a room, you two.
nah
seems you don’t know much about hardware and technology. FACT is: the ONLY thing why the PS3 is better is because it uses blu ray discs. theoretically the Cell has more power than the XBOX-CPU’s but the cache-RAM of the PS3 is too small to use the whole power of it and the anti aliasing on the PS3 is just crap because you see more aliasing compared to the 360… ok, there’s still one thing better on the PS3: it can handle some million polygons more… but would you see the difference between 15 and 20 million polygons per screen? surely not.
don’t get me wrong, i will buy a PS3 again… someday - ATM i don’t miss it 'cause i have my PC and my 360 and other consoles.
now the PC (a mid-end machine) has more power than any PS and XBOX and any Mac and is still cheaper than a Mac and you will get more software for the PC so i vote for the PC. the Mac was better when it was a power-PC, but power-PC’s are dead since a few years.
Well, everyone gets trolled eventually.
