Pause game while saving unable to un-pause

I think the titole says all, if I press quicksave and straight away esc twice the game will go in pause but I’m unable to unpause, luckly does save.

Revert to the old ui/menu

Right-click the game in Steam, select “Properties”, and in the General tab select “Set Launch Options”. Type “-oldgameui” in the launch config.
